| The Autumn/Winter 2008 Collection weaves an exotic web of mystery, intrigue and opulence, inspired by the notoriously bewitching spy of the early 1900's - Mata Hari. Luxuriously and unashamedly dripping with jewels, Mata Hari's outfits were a stark contrast to the military era of the time. She was an icon of her time and continues to fascinate to the present day.
Rich jewel colours including velvety plum, vibrant emerald green and lime highlight a classic palette of soft cream, rose and clay. Fabrics include metallic jersey, stretch leather, angora and sheepskin as well as an array of silks. Embellishments are sumptuous and ornate, tulle dresses are swathed in jewels and exotic butterfly winged dresses shimmer with tiny sequins. The military influence is given a twist with a structured knit and prints include a geometric stripe and an over sized floral "Papillon Print." Draping, soft tailored separates and intricate fabric techniques offer a softer side to the collection suitable for every day wear, while remaining quintessentially Temperley London. Accessories range from clutches encrusted with jewels, designed to sit alongside the glamorous Black label, to finely crafted leather day bags. Leathers include coloured mock croc and metallic python in petrol, burgundy and slate, as well as fine Italian nappa. Autumn/Winter 2008 encapsulates the decadence, danger and sheer unadulterated luxury of Mata Hari and her era, transforming it into a modern and wearable collection. |

Hoppin Frog Café B.O.R.I.S is an Coffee flavored Oatmeal Russian Imperial Stout that clocks in at, 9.4% ABV. Hoppin Frog describes Café B.O.R.I.S as: "Freshly roasted coffee flavor and aroma add satisfying levels of complexity to this robust stout, perfectly complimenting its intense, rich roasted character. Cold infusion with whole coffee beans keeps the bitterness low and the flavor high!" My written review and report card for Hoppin Frog Café B.O.R.I.S. follows: Hoppin Frog Café B.O.R.I.S WRITTEN REVIEW: A - Hoppin Frog Café B.O.R.I.S pours thick and as black as tar. There's only about a finger of thick very dark brown colored head that coats to the glass when agitated along with omnipresent alcohol legs. S - BAM!! Coffee, Chocolate, dark roasted malts, big cocoa, caramel, leather, toffee and dark friuts. Fudgey sweetness. Freshly brewed dark roasted coffee notes dominate and are accompanied by inviting high percentage cacao content semi-sweet dark chocolate, dark fruits with a touch of caramel in the faint background. No alcohol is detectable in the aroma. T - Follows the nose, just bigger. Layers of sweetness. Deep, dark roasted coffee, malts, caramel, toffee and big dark chocolate presence greets you up front. Milk chocolate and fudgey sweetness follows. It's nothing less then a liquid dessert. Very little alcohol is detectable. M - Incredibly smooth and full bodied. Surprisingly easy to drink for such a burly brew. Spot on carbonation. This beer coats your mouth like it coats the glass when swirled. Alcohol presence is only sensed as a warming sensation as this velvety brew slides sown your neck toward your chest. O - Hoppin Frog Café B.O.R.I.S. is as described on its label. I could down this as a desert any day. Glad we finally decided to review this one. All-in-all it another top notch variant of the B.O.R.I.S. base brew.
